Californication

Wow! I'm sooooo relieved that "The Donald" has proclaimed that Carrie Prejean could keep her crown as Miss California (even though his holier-than-thou priss-pot posed for naughty pictures as a waif).

On the top of that, Mr. Trump -- who would be one the first people I'd slap in the face (for charity, course) -- defended her answer on gay marriage during the recent Miss U.S.A. pageant that he bankrolls each year.

Yes, my fellow citizens, the world is now safe for Democracy.

I knew there was a reason I was losing sleep lately, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it. Now, I know.

Yeah, we get it, Gordon. You are above it all. You and your messiah, Obama. Spare us. Pageants are as American as apple pie. You are the anti-American. Go move to Sweden if you love it so much. Maybe they even have Springsteen on the radio.

Anonymous - I understand why are anonymous. I'd also be ashamed to have my name attached to such shallow thinking (or non-thinking).

The first poster is an idiot. Just like throwing the race card, now this idiot and others are throwing the “messiah/savior” card. They can't come up wiht a logical argument. Bunch of losers, just like Prejean, who is nothing but a plastic air head Barbie doll whose breasts were bought and paid for from the Miss California committee. Trump is only in it for the money and keeping this parrot spouting discrimination to also keep his name out there too.

I like Pageants, but there is so much money involved preparing the contestants that in the end it is almost like pay to participate & win. As for Trump - he needs to see a shrink the old fool. Judges should judge the contestant on what they say, what they do and how they present themself. If a judge does not like an answer or anything else about the contestant, then the marking should reflect just that. We should never prejudge any contestant. All judges in contests must come into a contest with an open mind and check their prejudice at the door.

Talk about judges leaving their prejudices at the door? For a pageant? We need the REAL judges and cops and other officials to leave their prejudices at the door. But, racism is alive and well in Montgomery County and now two incidences have "actually" been reported to my surprise. First one of the Code Enforcement guys uttered a racial epitaph over the Norristown borough's radio system, and now those rogue cops are finally getting noticed. I called a couple of times and the cops were absolutely rude. There are good ones, but those bad apples let off a lot of stink and pollute the entire place.

When was the last time a Miss USA or Miss America set the world on fire with their intelligence or good deeds? Yeah, I can't remember either. Oh wait, Vanessa Williams became a best selling singer and actress and uh,...oh yeah, she had to give the crown back...best thing that ever happened for her career. Does anyone really think pageant winners are the leaders or voice of America? Donald Trump should try financing something that actually has some substance and not so much fluff. In a few weeks, we'll forget the California what's her name??? She'll probably marry some up-and-coming televangelist to get on TV and make lots of babies. LOL
