Midnight Confessions

Gulp!
The first time it happened, I thought it was an involuntary reaction. I felt ashamed, but dismissed it as such.
It happened again, so I better come clean.
I'm cheering when Michael Vick scores a touchdown, or makes a big play -- neither of which was happened much through the fist two-thirds of the Eagles season.
Do I still wish they never signed him? Yes.
But since he's here, what the hay ...

As a self-proclaimed animal lover, you should be ashamed of yourself, Mr. Glantz. I'm ashamed for you. Football is only a game, sir. Only a game!

Get a grip, Ingrid. He did the crime and he did the time. Get over it!

I'll pick up where Dennis left off. Beyond getting over it, you need to get over your self-righteous self lady. Dollars to doughnuts, Miss Ingrid, you call yourself and "Christian." Try a little forgiveness, will ya?
The touchdowns don't hurt, either. Right, Gordo!

Ingrid, I respect your love for aniamls but please remember Michael Vick is a person and quite an athlete I may add. he belongs back on the football field. He did his time for the crime. He apologized for his actions and deserves to go back to work and play football. You may be a self-proclaimed animal lover but you've got it all wrong. Where is your self-proclaimed love for mankind.
Shame on you Ingrid.

P.S. You give women a bad name when you say football is only a game! You may want to flip the channels over the weekend and count how many animal shows vs. football games are on.

Pray for Michael don't scorn him and Pray for another Eagle's win while you are at it.

Dear Friends,

There are so many fundamental decisions that must be made in America to move us forward as a free, safe, and patriotic nation! I'm thankful tonight for what feels like a new beginning as we seize opportunities to help put America on the right path.

It's November 17th, and I've finished my book. I've told my story of how I got to where I am, and now I'm eager to move forward. And I want you to join me on the road ahead!

Our nation is at a critical crossroads, but the way forward is clear. Ronald Reagan showed us the way. He entered office during an economic recession even worse than our current one, but he left office after overseeing the largest peacetime economic expansion in American history. His policies worked! He charted the course for us.

C. S. Lewis once wrote: "We all want progress, but if you are on the wrong road, progress means doing an about-turn and walking back to the right road." We need to get back on the right road. In order to progress, we must return to our founding principles of limited government, fiscal responsibility, and strong national defense.

SarahPAC is dedicated to this!

We're going to work as Commonsense Conservatives for everyday, hardworking Americans by tackling issues that you care about and by helping candidates who will stand up for our nation. We'll help candidates (regardless of party) who have the courage to go to Washington or serve statewide and make the tough decisions needed to get our country back on track.

We can't do this alone - this effort needs good, commonsense Americans now more than ever. Please click here if you can assist with SarahPAC today.

SarahPAC supporters make it possible to get out there and fight for what we believe in. Please stand with us today. We won't let anyone tell us to sit down and shut up. We're going to stand up, stand together, and fight for what's right!

Thank you so much for your support and for your love of our country. My book, Going Rogue, is dedicated to you - to Patriots - who fight for freedom!

With an Alaska Heart,

Sarah Palin

The fact that our society holds people like Michael Vick and Sarah Palin up as people to admire show how far we have fallen as a people.

I don't see society holding Michael Vick up to admire. But, Palin, with her call that God wanted her to run is just like the other fruitcakes making stupid statements like the following in the midst of a tragedy:

Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh and televangelist Pat Robertson are being scolded for their comments in the immediate aftermath of an earthquake in Haiti that has killed tens of thousands, according to early estimates.

Critics from both the left and right are denouncing their remarks as insensitive to the disaster and attempts to score political points off human tragedy.

Speaking on his radio show Wednesday, Limbaugh said the earthquake has played into Obama’s hands, allowing the president to look “compassionate” and “humanitarian” while at the same time bolstering his standing in both the “light-skinned and dark-skinned black community in this country.”

He added: “We've already donated to Haiti. It’s called the U.S. income tax.”
